Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how FORMATEK ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, shares and protects personal data when you contact us through WhatsApp, Facebook Messenger, LINE, our website or by phone and email. We are a custom furniture and CNC panel-processing workshop located in Pattaya, Chonburi, Thailand.
1. Who is responsible for your data
FORMATEK is the data controller for the personal data described in this policy. You can contact us at formatekth@gmail.com.
2. What data we collect
When you message us or ask for a quote, we may receive:
- your phone number and the name shown on your messaging profile;
- the content of your messages, including text, photos, documents, voice messages and dimensions or drawings you send us;
- details you give us about your project, such as address or location, budget, materials and deadlines;
- message timestamps and basic technical information provided by the messaging platform.
We do not ask you for payment card numbers or passwords in messaging chats.
3. How we use your data
- to answer your questions and prepare quotes and offers;
- to plan, produce, deliver and install your order, and to provide after-sales support;
- to keep a record of our communication with you so that our team can continue a conversation consistently;
- to protect our business, prevent misuse and comply with legal obligations.
4. Automated assistance
We use customer-support software and automated tools, including software that can suggest or send first replies, to respond to messages faster. Our team can review conversations and take over at any time. We do not use these tools to make decisions about you that have legal or similarly significant effects.
5. Legal basis
We process personal data under Thailand's Personal Data Protection Act B.E. 2562 (2019) ("PDPA"), based on your request to communicate with us, performance of a contract or steps taken at your request before entering into one, our legitimate interests in running and protecting our business, compliance with law, and your consent where consent is required.
6. Who we share data with
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with:
- Messaging platforms such as WhatsApp and Meta Platforms, Facebook Messenger and LINE, which deliver your messages and process data under their own terms and privacy policies (see the WhatsApp Privacy Policy);
- Service providers that host or support our systems, including customer-support and automation software and hosting infrastructure, who may process data only to provide services to us;
- Authorities or advisers where required by law or to protect our legal rights.
7. Storage, retention and transfers
We keep personal data for as long as needed for the purposes in this policy, including to complete your order, provide warranty and support, and meet legal and accounting requirements. After that we delete or anonymise it. Some of our providers may process data outside Thailand; where this happens we take reasonable steps to protect it.
8. Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal data, including access controls for our team and secured systems. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Your rights
Under the PDPA you may ask us to give you access to your personal data, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to its use, transfer it to you, or withdraw consent you gave us. You also have the right to complain to Thailand's Personal Data Protection Committee. To use any of these rights, contact us at formatekth@gmail.com.
10. How to request deletion of your data
To have your data deleted, send an email to formatekth@gmail.com with the subject "Data deletion request" and the phone number or messaging account you used to contact us. We will confirm your identity, delete the data we hold about you unless the law requires us to keep it, and reply promptly and in any case within 30 days.
11. Children
Our services are intended for adults and businesses. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last changed.

14. Website forms, hosting and analytics
The general contact form and detailed enquiry form open a draft in WhatsApp or LINE. You send the message yourself. Order forms in the kitchen, wardrobe and cutting tools submit the request to our server system. Depending on the form you complete, this may include your name, phone, email, LINE ID, company, site address or project details, comments and order configuration. The website and server records are hosted on Cloudflare infrastructure. Technical request information is also used to protect submission forms from abuse.
The website uses Google Analytics to understand page views and interactions. This service may process device and browser information, website activity and cookie identifiers. Name, phone, email and message fields are not included in analytics events sent by our website code. See how Google Analytics handles data and the Google Privacy Policy.
